At CeBIT 2017, Huawei held its industry cloud forum under the theme "Leading New ICT, Reinventing Business with Industry Cloud." Huawei teamed up with world famous consultancy firm IDC, partner in CAE solutions ESI, and other industry leaders in discussion on the future of industry clouds.

The industry cloud will play a paramount role in accelerating digital transformations. Cloud computing, Big Data, and all sorts of other new pillar techs are being grafted into the production systems of finance, public security, manufacturing, government, medical, and other sectors. The infusions are changing business models. Huawei adheres to a customer-centric approach and has established over 10 Open Labs throughout the world with its industry partners. Together, they are building up the ecosystem to help customers use digital technology to accelerate their own ecological development and produce even greater business success.

Global research firm IDC noted that the cloud has become a major category of IT consumption in Europe, especially Germany, and that such builds are about to enter the second big push. Collaborations amongst various industries will also help drive cloud construction in European markets. IDC expects to see many new industry collaboration clouds in the future as companies continue to work towards shared development goals over cloud-based platforms. IDC affirmed its belief that enterprises should be building open cooperation platforms with partners and IT suppliers to promote development of industry clouds.

ESI and Huawei jointly developed a CAE simulation cloud solution, integrating ESI’s virtual engineering solutions with Huawei HPC cloud service capabilities through browser-based modeling, analytics, visualization and real-time collaboration tools. The collaboration between ESI and Huawei combines ESI’s experience in the CAE software domain and Huawei's global cloud-based infrastructure services capability. The combination enables online collaborative product development across the globe, large-scale simulations, and analysis of massive data. Customers will experience improved efficiency, cost optimizations, enhanced green credentials and other benefits.

Huawei has established more than 400 partnerships, including those with Accenture, SAP, GE, Hexagon, Honeywell, Infosys, Siemens, Alston, ESI, and a long list of others. Together with its partners, Huawei provides new ICT technologies and platforms for the cloud-pipe-device mix to help customers explore new business models and achieve even greater business success.
