Recently I have come across that Huawei has launched an altogether new Engine Series of enterprise network products and most of the team is not aware of this. So, I’ll try to briefly discuss all types:
1. AirEngine
2. NetEngine
3. CloudEngine
4. HiSec Engine
Let’s go through each one-by-one:
AirEngine
AirEngine is a new Huawei WiFi6 enabled Access Points. These are huawei’s 5G powered ultra-performance WiFi6 products. AirEngine 8760 is one of the highlighted product of the series boasting 10.75Gbit/s fiber like speed with 16T16R antennas.
NetEngine
Netengine is the Huawei’s industry's highest performance routers for all scenarios. NetEngine 8000 is top of the line router in this series while for enterprise market NetEngine 6000 series routers are also introduced.
CloudEngine
CloudEngine is the series of new datacenter switches. CloudEngine 16800 is the industry’s first AI datacenter switch while CloudEngine S12700E is the industry's largest-capacity campus core switch.
HiSecEngine
HiSecEngine is the new Huawei Secuirty gateway. Huawei is already a pioneer in the AI firewalls but HiSecEngine USG12000 is the industry's first T-level AI firewall.
