Good day!
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new... article from the Huawei Enterprise Support Community! Everybody loves Fridays (and technology!), so I thought it would be a wise decision for us today to discuss another highly-spoken-about topic in the telecom world; that is Diversified Ecosystems.
Now, since it's a relatively new term being used in Telecom, some of you may be unfamiliar with its actual meaning. I struggled a little to find the best definition for you, but thanks to our friends @ NetFortis.com, here you have it: 'much like ecosystems function in nature, industrial ecosystems are a network of cross-industry organizations that work together to create a stronger, more advanced industry.'

One of the sectors where cutting-edge technology is adopted at an earlier stage is the Telecom industry. With aspects like 5G, IoT, or AI, the Telecom world is definitely something to look at with regards to further technological developments.
According to a study published by Accenture, '84 percent of business leaders globally agree that building ecosystems – joining forces with other companies to share data, customers, technology and industry knowledge – is critical to their strategy'. They continue with their argument, predicting a value of $100 trillion throughout the following 10 years conceived around digital ecosystems.
Let me put this simply. When discussing digital ecosystems, we're basically talking about the symbiotic relationships between Telecom enterprises established with the purpose of generating competitive advantage. Huawei is no sranger to this concept and has already started to take the first steps towards harnessing the true essence of diversified ecosystems. This brings us today's article topic - Huawei Enterprise and Diversified Ecosystems.
HUAWEI ENTERPRISE AND DIVERSIFIED ECOSYSTEMS

As mentioed before, Huawei Enterprise has already taken the first steps towards the direction of diversified ecosystems. We're talking management software with the purpose of allowing for standard interfaces. Now, 'management software' is a bit of a broad term, right? No problem, let's narrow it down.
Mainstream management software plug-ins is what this is about.
MANGEMENT PLUG-INS
The most important feature of the management software plug-ins provided by Huawei Enterprise is the ease of integration within a diversified management ecosystem. Below you can find the available examples of management plug-ins, alongside their most notable features.
| PLUG-IN | FEATURES |
| VMWare vCenter | Alarm monitoring, information query, OS deployment, firmware driver upgrade, configuration |
| VMWare vRealize | Health status mintoring, information query |
| Microsoft System Center Operation Manager | Alarm monitoring, information query, performance curve |
| Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager | OS deployment, upgrade, configuration |
| BMC Software Patrol | Alarm monitoring |
| Nagios + Check MK | Alarm monitoring, information query |
| HP Operations Manager | Alarm monitoring |
| Cacti | Information query, performance curve |
| OpenNMS | Alarm |

| Ansible | OS deployment, server power-on/off, boot option configuration, RAID configuration, information query |
| Foreman | OS deployment, configuration |
| OpenStack | OS deployment, server power-on/off, boot option configuration |
All this being said, it is clear that Huawei Enterprise and Diversified Ecosystems are going in the right direction. There is, of course, much to learn in the field of Diversified Ecosystems and knowledge sharing in the key to taking this to the next level. Nevertheless, future's looking bright and don't forget - stay tuned, there is more of content like this to come!
