Hi! Just want to know if there's an issue with logging in to change the WiFi password? I was able to change my password before but I can't seem to login now. The option to retrieve the username and/or password is not showing as well. TIA!!

Hello, friend!

You can attempt to reset the EG8245H5 by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Log in to the system after resetting the password.

EG Series

The default user name and password for common users are Epuser and userEp, respectively.

If the default account password cannot be used to log in to the system, there are two situations: 1. You have logged in to the system and changed the password. 2. The default account and password vary depending on the region. You can contact the device provider or ISP to provide a solution.

Use either of the following methods to reset Huawei ONT to default:

1. Choose System Tools > Restore Default Configuration from the main menu on the web page and click Default.

A


2.Hold down the RESET button for at least 10 seconds to restart the ONT with factory settings.


Note:

Do not reset Huawei ONTs randomly. Otherwise, the ONTs may fail to access the Internet. If an ONT cannot access the Internet after a reset, contact your ISP.
