HUAWEI E3276S-920 Router/ Dongle Support

Hi,


I bought HUAWEI E3276S-920 dongle which is made for Arab market. It's 4G frequency(2300Mhz) is much higher than the 4G frequency now I need. Now I'm in Sri Lanka and in Sri Lanka the 4G frequency is 1800Mhz. What can I do to change the frequency? I tried to update the firmware but it asks password so I can't update the firmware.


Can anyone tell me how can I solve this issue. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

As always with Huawei keys and routers, there are regional variants, which are marked with the full part number of the device.

For the E3276:

* HUAWEI E3276 Variants

HUAWEI E3276s-151: Band 3/4/7/20 (800/1700/1800/2600MHz)
HUAWEI E3276s-150: 4G LTE FDD (DD800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz)
HUAWEI E3276S-861: Band 38/39/40 (1900/2300/2600MHz) Band 7 (2600MHz)
HUAWEI E3276S-210: B3 (1800 MHz), B7 (2600 MHz), B20 (800 MHz), B38 (TDD 2600 MHz)
HUAWEI E3276s-601: Band 3/7/40 (FDD 1800/2600MHz & TDD 2300MHz)
HUAWEI E3276s-920: Band 38/40 (TDD 2300/2600MHz)


The model you have dosen't work in the new network 

You will have to change the variant if you want to capture 4G in Sri Lanka

Thank you for your reply. Yes in my current location 4G frequency is 1800Mhz. So I'd like to know is there a way that I can update the firmware of this router? I tried to update it but it asks password.
