I have recently purchased Huawei wifi wingle E8231 from retailors.I have done a firmware upadate from internet.Now,under Network Settings,the selection 3G only is missing and the wingle automatically selects 2g with good signal strength even if 3g is present with comparatively low signal strength.I am attaching herewith the current device info from the device webui:
