Problem Description:
No historical performance data for one period of time
Problem Analysis:
it may network changes or network interruption causes that the data didn't collect to the NMS or is dumped by unreasonable dump settings
Solution Description:
1. Please kindly check if there is any Internet interruption during the no data collection period.
2. Check the historical alarms in the NMS and the devices in your network, which includes another vendor device.
3. Please kindly check if the performance dump setting has any unreadable.
For the performance auto dump setting, refer to the follows.
Automatic Dump Setting
When configuring automatic performance data dumps, you can refer to the information displayed and related settings. The automatic dump is performed after the performance data lifecycle expires. That is, if the time during which performance data is saved in the database or the database space occupied performance data exceeds the threshold, the system automatically dumps the performance data to files or deletes the performance data directly.
Navigation Path
Choose Performance > Performance Dump Management > Automatic Dump Setting (traditional style) from the main menu or select Fix-Network Performance in Application Center and choose Performance Dump Management > Automatic Dump Setting (application style) from the main menu.
NOTE:
L Lifecycle based on granularity: Specifies whether the performance data collected in different measurement periods are automatically dumped from the database to a file when the lifecycle of the performance data comes to an end. The performance data will be deleted if the data is not dumped.
· Dynamic lifecycle complies with disk size: Specifies whether the performance data collected earlier is automatically dumped from the database to a file, if the percentage of the disk space occupied by the performance data in the database is higher than the preset value.
The performance data is automatically dumped according to the preset parameters if the data meets either of the preceding conditions.
· Different lifecycle can be set for the performance data collected in different measurement periods. It is recommended that a relatively short lifecycle be set for the short-period and fine-grained data. For the long-period and coarse-grained data, the long lifecycle should be set, which helps to learn the changing trend based on a long period.
