#Huawei certification My journey to become a huawei certified engineer

Hello good people, my name is Titus Mahwenda from Zimbabwe in Africa. Over the period between December 2019 up to date, I have heard a rather fair share of opportunities on the Huawei community platform. I am going to share all that success with you, please like and enjoy.

My official Huawei certification journey started on December 2 2019, that's when I joined the Huawei ICT competition for 2019-2020. A month and a half later, I was given a HCIA Routing and Switching voucher. I heard no previous experience with Huawei exams so it was a disadvantage to my side. During the exam, the multiple answer section was the most difficult part. But after completing the whole exam with 10 minutes to spare, I was awarded with these:

After passing my first ever Huawei exam, I was happy and motivated to move further. Then came COVID-19. During that time I was preparing for my Huawei ICT Regional Finals Competition so either way I heard to study. I worked hard and completed my Huawei zoom classes and I was awarded with my second HCIA voucher. This time it was a Big Data exam. The exam structure was very similar to that of Routing and Switching. My weakness was in the multiple answer section. But to my surprise, the first section knocked off. I heard to sweat to reach the finish line and at the end I was awarded with these:

With each exam I was facing, my fear was being slowly swallowed by my courage and self determination. My Huawei zoom classes continued. Next on my list was HCIA Storage. My fear for exams was gone. My next challenge was resource for exam preparation. Where I came from data is very expensive. The exam was very fair given my previous experience. I completed the exam with around 20 minutes to spare which was awesome and I was awarded with my certificate number three.

Ever since joining the Huawei Community platform, I have been participating in quizzes and challenges winning Hi-Coins and gift cards. In January 2021, I started pursuing my Routing and Switching professional career. Using my Hi-Coins, I bought the first of my three HCIP exams. By end of June I should be either smiling or crying. Either way, I just want to thank Huawei for such a generous offer. In Africa, we very much behind when it comes to technology and innovation. So coming across opportunities like these ones is really a privilege.
