If artifacts or frame
freezing occurs on live video, the possible causes are as follows:
1. The computer
configuration is insufficient. The CPU usage is high.
2. The network is
faulty.
When encountering such
issues, you can refer to the solution diagram to locate and troubleshoot
faults.
Solution

• Check the packet
loss rate. The detailed procedure is as follows:
1. Log in to the
camera web system and choose Settings
> System
> Local Settings
> Playing
Settings.
2. Set Protocol to UDP and click Save.
3. Go to the View
page and click in
the lower part of the live video pane to check the packet loss rate.

• Change the
network transmission protocol to TCP. The detailed procedure is as
follows:
1. Log in to the camera
web system and choose Settings
> System
> Local Settings
> Playing
Settings.
2. Set Protocol to TCP.
3. Click Save.
Changing the network transmission protocol type takes effect only for the
current camera and computer. If frame freezing also occurs on live video
from the camera on the platform, you need to change the network
transmission protocol of the platform.
• Change the
bit rate. The detailed procedure is as follows:
1. Log in to the
camera web system and choose Settings
> Video/Audio/Image
> Video.
