Hi. Ive established a connection on my B535 router with an ethernet cable and its working as good as expected, yet when I go onto the router config page and check under ethernet settings, it says no ethernet cable is connected.

Also on the router itself, the 4th LED, the network light, is constantly flashing and the router config page says I am constantly uploading something but I have no idea what this. When I connect via wireless, this light is off.

Any ideas what is happening?

Hi,

Although this is very strange and should not happen. Please contact your service provider and for issues regarding any Huawei consumer products (i.e. mobile phones and tablets), please visit the Huawei consumer Website or Hotline Service.

Hi Support,

I am seeing the same issue with trying to use a Philips Hue Bridge v2. The ethernet light on the front of the hub is flashing along with the internet status light on the bridge. I can manage my Hue devices on the local network using the app but remote management is denied as communication with the bridge is not possible.

Logging onto the router management I can see the bridge in devices but in the internet enablement column there is no lever to toggle like all the Wifi devices registered.

I have configured the bridge successfully with an ADSL router then connecting it back to the B535 it is blocking external access. I like the flexibility of having LTE broadband so ideally I do not want to buy into a an ADSL broadband contract.

Any advice is welcome.
