3.5 Task 5: Specifying the Internet DNS Server
The Internet DNS server must be specified to resolve the domain name and IP address of the APNS server.
Context
When the SVN manages iOS devices (including assets management, enterprise app management, and device management), the SVN needs to send messages to the AnyOffice client on the iOS devices through the APNS server. After receiving messages from the SVN, the AnyOffice client requests for related commands from the SVN and executes these commands.
The IP address of the APNS server might change. Therefore, the SVN needs to use the domain name to access the APNS server. In this case, the SVN needs to request for the IP address of the corresponding domain name from the Internet DNS server. Therefore, you need to set the IP address of the Internet DNS server on the SVN.
