Dears,
We are in the process of Installing HUA-NE40E-X16A with AC Input Voltage as power source : -
As per technical specifications :-
Full Configuration : [400G bundle] HVDC&AC:350.7 kg (773.29 lb)
Typical power consumption : 9040 W (fully configured with LPUF-480s)
Redundant Power Supply : [400G bundle] HVDC&AC: 5+5 ( 5*Feed A + 5*Feed B )
Since the total power consumption is 9040W,then we need to provide below power from AC Distribution panel ( Each Phase 220V) :-
No Of Feeds : 5*Feed A + 5*Feed B ( As per Huawei Requirements )
Power = Voltage * Current
Current = Power/Voltage
= 9040/220 = 41.09 A
Hence total ampere with full load configuration is : 41.09A.
Hence we decided to provide 5*AC Power Feed with 16A breakers from Source A & 5*AC Power Feed with 16A Breakers each.
In this case, each breaker will share 8.21A from Power Source A ( Assuming no load from Power Source B & it is standby )
My question is, why Huawei NE40X16A requires 5*Input VOlatges from AC/DC source.Why not there 2*Input Voltages from AC/DC distribution panel with 63A breaker
full load configurations. Because, we have shortage of no.of breakers in AC/DC distribution panel
If the design of NE40X16A requires 5*Input Voltages, then can we provide 5*Input Voltages as below :-
- 2*63A Input Voltage from AC/DC distribution panel to Sub Distribution Panel (Let us say Power Entry Module).
- Sub Distribution Panel (PEMs) will have multiple Breakers ( 5*16A Breaker to Power Feed A * 5*16A Breaker to Power Feed B )
Is above power distribution is good to go?
Note : For Optix OSN 8800 we provide 2xInput Voltages with 63A breaker from DC Source .
