Hello everyone!
Today we will discuss the topic about how to view NE version.
Before an upgrade or a downgrade is performed, you can view the NE version to know the current version information of the NE.
Procedure
1. Choose Administration > NE Software Management > NE Data Backup/Restoration (traditional style) from the main menu or select Fix-Network NE Software Management in Application Center and choose NE Software Management > NE Data Backup/Restoration (application style) from the main menu.

2. In the NE View, right-click one or more NEs, and then choose Update Version.

View the operation status in the dialog, and then click Close.
If the operation is successful, the latest version information is displayed in the NE View and the NE Type(MPU Type) tree.
If the operation failed, the reason will display in the operation result. If there is a link in the reason, you can click the link to see the detailed information.
Please note:
These operations may seem simple, but many people have overlooked a key step. That does not click the "update version" button. As a result, the content of the "version" column in the report is empty or the old content is still displayed. The user thinks the query failed.
In the same way, when we check the receiving optical power of the port on the board or query other status information of the NE, we must first click the "Query" button. After the system prompts 'Operation succeeded', The information displayed in the report is the current real information.

This is a detail that many of our junior engineers can easily ignore.
I hope my sharing will help you.
Thank you!
