I want to check the capacity of the LUN, do you know how to check the physics used for the LUN?

Thank you

Hi friend

Execute the command "show lun generallun_name =? To search for information about the specified LUN based on the LUN name.

Capacity is the total capacity of this LUN. Space was displayed on the application / operating system side. May be over-provisioned.

The subscribed capacity is the capacity quota actually used or the capacity used / written by the applications.

display lun reduction_info lun_id = number Reduction ratio: 2.6: 1 Reduction rate Capacity reduction rate.

If you are creating a LUN with 1T provisioning and 260G application data, write to it. Your reduction ratio is 2.6: 1. The subscribed capacity is therefore 260G. 260G / 2.6 = 100G. 100G physical capacity used in storage pool. It means 100G physical space can store 260G application data by deduplication and compression

1T LUNsize capacity

Subscribed capacity 260G application data written from OSside

Reduction ratio: 2.6: 1 the reduction ratio is 2.6: 1

You must mention the capacity available for the storage pool which describes the physical capacity available. The subscribed capacity for the storage pool describes the amount of application data used and the amount of application data that can be written. The alarm will be reported if the available capacity for the storage pool is less than 20%. Please consider expanding the DAE or moving some data from the current storage if the available capacity for the storage pool is less than 10%.

For storage pool

Available capacity: physical storage capacity

Subscribed capacity: Application data can be written and the amount of application data used.

Thank you.
