How to use stacking QinQ VLAN mapping

[Problem Analysis]

the example configuration is as below

interface GigabitEthernet1/1/xx

 port link-type hybrid

 port hybrid untagged vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 36 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 123 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 964 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 1999 stack-vlan xxx

interface GigabitEthernet1/2/xx

 port link-type hybrid

 port hybrid untagged vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 36 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 123 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 964 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 1999 stack-vlan xxx

interface GigabitEthernet1/3/xx

 port link-type hybrid

 port hybrid untagged vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 36 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 123 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 964 stack-vlan xxx

 port vlan-stacking vlan 1999 stack-vlan xxx

Firstdoing the map VLAN user_vlan to VLAN xxx

Seconddoing the stacking QinQ encapsulate VLAN xxx

[Solution Description]

Example map VLAN source_vlan to VLAN  destination_vlan and then encapsulate the VLAN stacking_vlan

 vlan  destion_vlan

port vlan-mapping source_vlan  map-vlan  destination_vlan

port vlan-stacking vlan destination_vlan  stack-vlan stacking_vlan

The basic QinQ, also known as the QinQ Layer 2 tunnel, is implemented based on the interface. After the basic QinQ function is enabled on the interface, the device adds the VLAN tag of the default VLAN of the interface to the interface. If a packet with a VLAN tag is received, the packet becomes a dual-tag packet. If the packet is received without a VLAN tag, the packet becomes the default VLAN tag of the interface. Message.

QinQ encapsulation changes a single-tagged packet into a double-tagged packet, and is usually performed on underlayer provider edge (UPE) interfaces connected to customer networks.

Depending on the data encapsulated, QinQ encapsulation is applied as interface-based or flow-based QinQ encapsulation. Additionally, QinQ encapsulation can be performed on routed sub-interfaces.
if you can share more details about QinQ and stack ,it's very wonderful .

The qinq protocol command sets the TPID value in the outer VLAN tag of an interface.

The undo qinq protocol command restores the default TPID value in the outer VLAN tag.

By default, the TPID value in the outer VLAN tag is 0x8100.

is this right?

In the access environment of operators, it is often necessary to differentiate users'needs according to their applications or access locations or devices. VLAN Stacking can mark the corresponding outer Tag to the user message according to the Tag or IP/MAC of the user message, in order to distinguish different users.
The VLAN Stacking port has the following characteristics:
Ports with VLAN Stacking function can be configured with multiple external VLANs, and ports can add different external Tags to different VLAN frames.
The port with VLAN Stacking function can add an outer Tag to the frame when receiving the frame, and strip the outermost Tag when sending the frame.

Good example, I didn't use the QinQ protocol before, also didn't use this solution, after check this case, maybe i will try this solution in the future project, the example is very clear and having more details, thanks for your sharing
