How to use Huawei firewall Rest API

Hi all,

Currently i am leaning Huawei rest API to get details in USG-9520 and USG-9560 firewalls, in the rest API docuement shows below steps required to access the API:

1. Initiate TCP connection to the API.

2. If TCP connection success case before 5sec time do authentication.

3. If authentication success case execute required API methods and get data.

Please clarify my doubts:

1. How to initiate TCP connection to API? For example Huawei firewall running in https://192.168.10.10:8777 case, can i initate TCP connection to "ipaddress" 192.168.10.10 and Port "8777" ?

2. If connection success case how to execute authentication http/https request? Access URL: https://192.168.10.10:8777/username=***&password=******* with required headers, is this correct?
