How to upload the SmcInstall file to SMC server when upgrade

1. Issue Description:

When upgrade the SMC2.0,it need upload the SmcInstall.exe file to SMC2.0 server,but it can not use Remote Desktop Connection because of security hardening and it can not use copy and paste either.

2. Solution

2.1. Keep your Laptop and SMC2.0 server network connection is available.

On your PC side,run the ftp server(For example IPOP),start FTP server and put your file to the home Dir

2.2. Upload the file via ftp, on SMC2.0 server side,picture as below

2.2.1. Input the command:”ftp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx”

2.2.2. Then input the user and password

2.2.3. Get SmcInstall.exe(file name),then you can find the file in directory of c:\User\Administrator(for example)
