How to upgrade the SMC1.0 ?

SMC1.0 upgrade operation steps are as follows:
1.Select "start > control panel > add and remove program" on the computer, uninstall "business management center" and restart the computer.

SMC1.0 upgrade operation steps are as follows:

1. Select "start > control panel > add and remove program" on the computer, uninstall "business management center" and restart the computer.

2. Under "C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.", delete the SMC folder.

3. Open the new version folder, run smc.exe, and follow the system prompts for installation until the installation is completed.

4. Restore system license.

Copy the license.dat file backed up in the previous business software backup steps into the directory "C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\license", and overwrite the existing license.dat file.

5. Restore the system configuration file.

Open the gkcfg.ini (.\SMC\SwitchCentre directory) file in the path of "C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\SwitchCentre", and change the configuration item from the previous backup file.

Open the gkmcfg.ini file under the path of "C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\SwitchManager\GKM", and make configuration item modification comparing with the previous backup file.

Open the rmcc.ini (.\SMC\ResourceManager directory) file under the path "C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\ResourceManager" and change the configuration item against the previously backed up Files.

6. Restart the SwitchCentre, SwitchManager, and ResourceManager services for the configuration to take effect.

To upgrade the SMC1.0, perform the following steps:
1. On the PC, choose Start > Control Panel > Uninstallation and get program, uninstall the service management center, and restart the PC.
Step 2 In C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd on drive C, delete the SMC folder.
Step 3 Open the folder of the new version, run SMC.exe, and install the SMC as prompted.
Note: In the Installing Database window, select Upgrade service database.
Step 4 Restore the system license.
Copy the license.dat file that has been backed up beforehand to the C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\license to replace the existing license.dat file.
Step 5 Restore the system configuration file.
- Open the gkcfg.ini file under C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\SwitchCentre, compare it with the backup file, and modify configuration items.
- Open the gkmcfg.ini file under C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\SwitchManager\GKM, compare it with the backup file, and modify configuration items.
- Open the RMCC.ini file under C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\SMC\ResourceManager, compare it with the backup file, and modify configuration items.
