Hello, everyone!

A teacher has resigned and wants to give his VM to others. We add a new colleague. Our VM is bound to the teacher. How can I unassign the relationship between the teacher and the VM?

Thanks in advance!

You can refer to the following steps to unassign VM.

1. Log in to FusionAccess Web Client as an administrator. For details, see Logging In to FusionAccess.

2. On FusionAccess, choose Resources > Desktops > Computers.

The Computers page is displayed.

3. Enter search criteria in the search box and clicksearch.

The search result is displayed.

4. Select one or more computers to be unassigned and choose Operation > Assignment Relationship > Detach.

A dialog box is displayed.

5. In the Confirm dialog box, click OK.

6. In the Unassigned List dialog box, click OK.

7. In the Prompt dialog box, click OK.

8. Enter the search criteria to search for the unassigned computer.

Check the operation result in the computer list. If Assignment Status is Unassigned, the computer is successfully unassigned.

Hope this helps!

Hello, Lisa!

Yes, It's OK.

After a computer whose Assignment Type is Assign a computer to a user is unassigned, it can be assigned only to the original user and the user group permissions remain unchanged.

After the unassigned computer is assigned and started, the computer icon on the WI turns on. The computer can be logged in 3 minutes later.

You can refer to the following steps to restore the assignment relationship of a computer.

1. Enter the search criteria to search for the unassigned computer.

2. Select the computer and choose Operation > Assignment Relationship > Restore Attachment.

3. In the Confirm dialog box, click OK.

4. In the Restore Allocated List dialog box, click OK.

5. In the Prompt dialog box, click OK.

6. Choose System > Tasks and Logs > Task Tracing.

Views the task execution status. The task is executed successfully when its status changes to Completed, all jobs succeeded.

Have a nice day!
