For a WiFi coverage issue, what's the steps for troubleshooting?
(1) Confirm the issue with customer and ask the customer that where has the coverage issue.
(2) Draw frame structure of the customer's home.
(3) Check the Normal configuration of ONT is normal or unnormal, Such as optic rx power, firmware version.
(4) Check the Wi-Fi configuration of ONT, it suggested to use default ONT Wi-Fi basic configuration and advanced configuration.
(5) Use inSSIDer to check RSSI of each room
(6) Check ONT position and antenna direction. if ONT position and antenna direction is not correct, change it to correct position and direction.
(7) Use inSSIDer to check RSSI of each room again.If the RSSI of the room is also weaker than -65dB.it suggested customer to install a extented AP to get the best performance.
