Hello, friend!
The indicators of Huawei ONTs are on the front side of the device, as shown in the following figure.

Huawei ONTs have indicators for power supply, registration, optical signal, and gigabit (100M and LAN). ONTs with voice, USB, wireless, and CATV functions also have indicators for telephone (TEL), USB, wireless (WLAN), and CATV.
Note:
Some ONTs have a Light (Indicator) button on the side. This button is used to turn on or off the indicators (on by default). Ensure that the button is in the "on" position.
Normal Status of the Indicators
1) Power: steady green, indicating that the power supply is on.
2) Registration (PON): steady on; Optical signal (LOS): off, indicating that the ONT is connected to the upper-layer device.
3) Gigabit (100M and LAN): steady on or blinking, indicating that the Ethernet connection is normal.
4) Telephone (TEL): steady on or blinking quickly, indicating that the device is connected to the voice server.
5) USB: steady on or blinking, indicating that the USB connection is normal.
6) Wireless (WLAN): steady on or blinking, indicating that the wireless function is enabled.
7) CATV: steady on, indicating that the CATV function is enabled.
8) WPS: steady on or blinking, indicating that the WPS function is enabled.
Troubleshooting
If the registration (PON) and optical signal (LOS) indicators are not steady on and off respectively, it is possible that the ONT has no optical signal, the ONT transmits optical signals abnormally, or the hardware is faulty. Take appropriate measures as follows:
1. Check whether the connector of the optical fiber is securely inserted. The connector at one end of the optical fiber is located at the rear of the ONT, and the one at the other end is located on the wall or weak-current box, as shown in the following figure.

2. Restart the ONT.Press the ON/OFF button on the side of the ONT to shut down the ONT. Turn on the ONT several seconds later.
3. If the fault persists, call the service hotline of your ISP and request the ISP installation and maintenance personnel to handle the problem.
If the Gigabit (100M and LAN) indicator is off, it indicates that the Ethernet connection is not set up. Take appropriate measures as follows:
1. Check whether the Ethernet port is securely inserted.Remove and then insert the connectors connecting to the network port (LAN/FE/GE/gigabit/100M) on the ONT and to the network port on the computer.
2. Restart the ONT.Press the ON/OFF button on the side of the ONT to shut down the ONT. Turn on the ONT several seconds later.
3. If the fault persists, call the service hotline of your ISP and request the ISP installation and maintenance personnel to handle the problem.
If the wireless (WLAN) indicator is off, the wireless function is disabled.
Hold down the WLAN button on the side of the ONT for more than 5 seconds to enable the wireless function.
Thanks!
