Hi,my company is using AP5030DN Firmware R007C020SPC500 (FIT mode) with AC6605. Due to some issues between Contractor with vendor,they started to make unprofessional things like disable firewall USG6630 and core switch S7700 but we managed to gain access on this 2 devices. a few days back the vendor managed to get into our AP through wifi and force upgrade a few AP to FAT with firmware varies from R009C020 to R009C010. We managed to stop them by changing the Wifi passwords as well as called the local p*** to stop what they are doing.Now i can't change back to FIT as i dont have the FIT firmware. and i cant download because of account limitation.Is there anyway i can downgrade ?can i ftp to the other FIT AP to get the firmware?i tried to ftp into 1 of the AP seems like there is no vprcfg.cfg in it.
please guide..thank you in advance

Hi, TAC is short for Technical Assistance Center. You can contact Huawei's enigineers to help solving your problem. Here are some useful links:

To configure the FIT/FAT switching, please refer to: http://support.huawei.com/hedex/ ... itching&lang=en.

@user_3392199 hi,
if you want to download the firmware and the webpage tells you that you don't have the permission, you could try to upgrade your account by binding your device information with your account, after that, you may get the permission.

Hi,

in the AP manual I read that to convert an AP5030DN with FAT firmware to FIT firmware it is mandatory the console connection.

Can you confirm this or is it possible to use ap-mode-switch command also from Telnet/Stelnet ?

I'm asking this because APs are difficult to reach so it's not simple to connect a serial cable to console port.

Thx
