this is steps with snapshoots to supplement version software for a board from the server to the NE when the software is missing.
1-Before running this command, ensure that the software package to be downloaded exists in the specified directory on the FTP server. If the package does not exist in the directory, this command will fail to be executed.
2- The NE supports download of the software package from the specified directory on the specified server by FTP. Before running this command, ensure that the following conditions are met:
The FTP server is functioning properly.
The FTP server is connected to the NE properly.
The specified user name and password for the FTP server are valid and the user has permission to read the specified directory.
3-During software supplement, if the software running on the BS is for multiple applications, DIR must be set to the directory in which MBTS software is stored; if the software running on the BS is for a single application, DIR can be set to the directory in which either MBTS software or a software package is stored.
1-IP Mode : Meaning: Indicates the mode of the IP address of the FTP server.
2- FTP Server IP : Meaning: Indicates the IP address of the FTP server.
3- User Name : Meaning: Indicates the user name for login to the FTP server.
4- Password : Meaning: Indicates the password of user login to the FTP server.
5- Directory Name : Meaning: Indicates the directory where the software is saved on the FTP server. Whether the directory name can include an absolute or relative path and what format the path should be in both depend on the FTP server and the operating system of the FTP server. You can refer to the directory name in the Example part.
6- Patch Directory Name : Meaning: Indicates the directory where the cold patch is saved on the FTP server. Whether the directory name can include an absolute or relative path and what format the path should be in both depend on the FTP server and the operating system of the FTP server. You can refer to the directory name in the Example part.
7- Delay-Supported Download File : Meaning: Indicates whether to supplement the file that supports the delay download
