Description:
Frame freezing occurs in a VM. The VM responds slowly after a user clicks a program. For example, after clicking a 32 KB Word document, the user has to wait for while before editing the file. If the user inserts some characters into the document, the inserted characters are displayed after a while. After the user moves a QQ window, the shadow image of the window remains in the original position.
Steps:
Analyze the CPU usage and I/Os when the problem occurs. It is found that the CPU usage is normal but I/Os are abnormal. The service volume indicates that the service volume is not large when the latency is large. Therefore, the problem is not caused by the service volume. Further analyze the I/O bandwidth from the CNA to storage.Run the add command to check whether the bandwidth from the CNA where the faulty VM resides to storage is normal.

Check the system disk. It is found that the system disk bandwidth is normal. Check the user disk. It is found that the user disk bandwidth is only the half of common bandwidth.Check the switches. It is found that the rate of ports g0, 0, and 1 is 100 Mbit/s. Normally, the rate of the other ports is 1000 Mbit/s. Ports g0, 0, and 1 are used to connect to IP SAN.

Therefore, ports g0, 0, and 1 are malfunctioning. The port rate remains 100 Mbit/s after shutdown and undo shutdown operations are performed. It recovers to 1000 Mbit/s after the network cable is replaced.
Solution:
Reconfigure and recover the switch port rate.
