ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

There were a requirement for the possibility to show an specific picture within notification pages of the firewall (USG6300).

Before all changes, the system of the firewall only showed the next image every time that one user tried to access to a restricted site:

The customer was requesting for a possibility to show an specific picture, like this:

The code that customer was used was the next:

However, after to perform all changes, the system only showed the next:

The system just showed the defined text within the code, but didn't shows the picture.


SOLUTION:

It was confirmed to the customer that is possible that firewall system shows a picture every time that one user request access to a restricted page, however, with a limitation that the used picture couldn't be more than 21 Kb, also the file must be on HTML format:

in order to use the code for the requested image, it was necessary to codify the picture to an HTML code in order to be used, in this case it was used an online decoder (Base64) to obtain the picture HTML code:

So, after that, it was necessary to edit the code of the notification page of the firewall like this:

change "prueba.jpg" to the new HTML code

Finally it was necessary to add a reference to the tool used to decode the picture, in this case the Base64 tool:
