HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

I have a huawei router HG8245H5.

I would like to have two interfaces configured on my router.

One interface will be in the 192.168.100.x network for my IP phone, another interface will be in the 192.168.177.x network for the DHCP server.

On the interface for the 192.168.100.x network, i need to start the DHCP Relay Agent service to forward DHCP packets from the network toward the DHCP server and vice versa.

I would like my DHCP server to know the route back to the 192.168.100.x network.

The goal is to get my Ip phone to take an IP address from the scope of addresses, i created within the DHCP server.

I am new to this and i need to know in which console, i should type in the commande lines

Hello, friend!

According to the problem description, you can create two WANs of different service types on the ONT (HG8245H5) and bind the two WANs to a specified port.

Log in to the WebUI of the device.

Note: Only the administrator account has the configuration permission.

In the navigation tree on the left, choose Advanced Configuration > WAN Configuration. In the pane on the right, click New

WAN

Set the parameters as required.

If you are a home network user, you need to contact the ISP to enable the configuration created on the ONT.

Thanks!

Hello! Thank you for your reply!
I hope you don't mind me asking few more questions to clarify.

- What is the service type i should use for the second WAN?

-Should i use the same VLAN ID: 10 for the second WAN?

My DHCP server is using 192.168.177.XX as default gateway and the phone 192.168.100.XX

- How do i set up the DHCP relay agent service and make sure my Ip phone gets
an address from the other subnet (192.168.177.XXX).

-Do i need to use the huawei simulator ensp ?

Hello, friend!

For the service type of the second WAN, you need to select the VOIP type since you are using the voice service (phone).

WAN

You can set IP Acquisition Mode to DHCP in the WAN configuration.

The VLAN ID of the ONT needs to be configured on the upper-layer device (OLT).

eNSP supports only experiments on datacom devices, but does not support simulation experiments on optical network devices.

Thanks!
