Setting the Login IP Address Whitelist on SEM

Procedure

Step 1      Enter https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8443/sem in the address box of a web browser and press
Enter.

In the preceding URL, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx indicates the IP address of the server where the SEM is located.

Step 2      Enter the user name and password to log in to the SEM.

Step 3      Choose System management > Advanced configuration > Login IP Address Whitelist
and click Modify.

Step 4      Enter the IP address of the local host in the text box. You can run the ipconfig
command to obtain the local IP address.

 Step 5      Confirm the IP address and click Save.

The IP address login whitelist is configured to prevent the upgrade process from being interrupted when other
users log in by mistake. The IP address login whitelist is optional.
