How to Set the Forwarding Mode (Internal Forwarding or External Forwarding) of Media Streams for the OLT / MDU

Hi, there.

The media stream forwarding mode is used to forward media streams between two users connected to the same access device.

You can run the system parameter 5 value command to change the media stream forwarding mode to external forwarding or internal forwarding. The value is 0 or 1.

0: internal forwarding. Use this value if you need to reduce the consumption of the upstream bandwidth.
1: external forwarding. Use this value if you need to collect traffic statistics.
