This time, I will share with you how to set the DCC byte on WDM NE.
Overview
A DCC is used to transmit OAM information between NEs. The DCC defined for Huawei NG WDM products uses the D1 to D12 overhead bytes in a Huawei proprietary frame structure to transmit OAM information.
Configuration Procedure
1. Open the NE Explorer and select the NE, then click Communication, and DCC Management, in the right DCC management tab, you can set the DCC channel like below from Enable to Disable. Attention: Setting a DCC channel to enable or disable also applies to all other DCC channels on the same port. To disable only a single channel, use the Delete button instead.
2. You can delete the signal DCC channel at a port by select the DCC channel and Click the Delete button like below:
And you can add it back by Create Button:
Please note that the above operation applies to the OSN3800/OSN6800/OSN8800.
