How to set the best channel for WLAN WDS Outdoor AP

Hi all,


I would like to know how to decide whats the best 5g channel for WDS, and is there any command in the AC to get the best channel or do I need to use 3rd party application/device to scan/get the best channel to set for WDS AP.

 Hello,

By default, an AP work in automatic mode (enabling automatic channel selection), it automatically selects a proper channel based on the WLAN radio environment, removing the need to specify channels manually.

You can set the AP to work in fixed mode and specify channels by yourself.

As shown in the preceding link, you can customize the threshold. When the threshold is reached, the AC triggers radio calibration and switches AP to another channel.

Hello @JNL,
you can use the interference detection tool to check a normal AP's channel interference and neighboring device information, and adjust the channel manually based on the detection result.
