Dear team,

I need to select a startup mode when using the install.sh script to install UltraPath. What's the difference between the two startup modes?

ultrapath

Thank you.

Daer Axe,
If boot-from-local is used, UltraPath is installed in the system as a system service. The UltraPath service is uploaded automatically and takes effect during the system startup. UltraPath can be started or stopped using commands.
If boot-from-SAN mode is used, UltraPath is placed in the system mirror that is newly generated. The system starts from the mirror during which UltraPath is uploaded and takes effect.
Thank you.

How to select a correct startup mode?
Deer,
If the operating system is installed on a local disk, both startup modes can be used (boot-from-Local is recommended).
If the operating system is installed on a disk of the disk array, only the boot-from-SAN mode can be used.
Thank you.
