How to select a configuration scheme in the optical supervisory channel

Hi, sir!

I have a question.

Can the FIU and SC1 boards be configured at one site and the SFIU and SC1 boards be configured at the other site when the two sites are interconnected in optical supervisory channel mode?

Hello, friend!


You can not. The SFIU board must be used with the ST2 board. The SFIU board combines one channel of bidirectional OSC signals from the ST2 board into one fiber for transmission, achieving the commissioning-free and compensation-free functions of IEEE 1588v2.
