This post describes how to retrieve the administrator password of OceanStor V3 storage systems. Please read further down for details.
If you forgot the password of the administrator or a read-only user, reset the password as in:
§ Method 1: Ask the super administrator for the password or follow the below provided steps:
1. Log in to the super.
2. Choose 
Settings > 
Permission Settings > User Management.
3. In the function pane, click the name of the administrator or the read-only and click Modify. The Modify box is displayed.
4. password. Enter the password of the current user (the super), enter a new password, and confirm the password by click OK.
§ Method 2: Ask the super to log in to the CLI of the storage system and run change user to reset the password of the administrator or the read-only.
If the superadmin forgets the password, ask the super_admin to log in to the CLI via a serial port and run the command to reset the password.
