After the customer uses the device, the default user name and password of the device may be changed.
If you forget the password of the root user, you can refer to the following method to deal with it.
Method 2 is recommended.
Method 1:
Reload the empty database of the host to the device under DOS. After restarting, you can log in with the system default user name root and user password. This method will result in the loss of data configuration, and data needs to be reconfigured.
Method 2:
Modify through the network management interface, the specific operation is as follows.
Choose System> NE Security> LCT User Management.
In the pop-up "LCT User Management" window, select the "NE User" tab and select the device type. Select the device name and user name in the device list below, right-click, select "Set Password", and set a new password in the pop-up dialog box.
Description:
This method resets the password without restarting the device and will not interrupt the business.
Method 3:
Modify the configuration file through the network management, the specific operation is as follows.
Use the network management to back up the configuration file of the device.
Open the configuration file and find the record of changing the password of the root user before the device operator, as shown in the bold font below.
