Setting PTZ Channel Parameters (Externally Connecting to a PTZ Device)
Procedure1. When an IPC is connected to a PTZ device, you need to set the PTZ channel parameters, as shown in
Figure 2.
Table 1 describes the parameters.
Before setting the PTZ parameters on the web pages, ensure that the PTZ has been connected to the camera and the related PTZ configurations have been completed.

NOTE:
Ensure that the values of the web PTZ parameters are the same as those of the external PTZ parameters. Otherwise, the external PTZ cannot be used properly.

PTZ ID
| Indicates the unique ID of the PTZ.

Enable
| Indicates whether to enable the serial port.

Serial port ID
| Indicates the PTZ serial port ID.

PTZ protocol
| Indicates the PTZ protocol type.

PTZ address
| Indicates the PTZ address.
|
Direction control
| Used to perform forward or backward control of the PTZ. - Forward: Enables the forward control of the PTZ. For example, if you click the left button, the PTZ moves leftward.
- Backward: Enables the backward control of the PTZ. For example, if you click the left button, the PTZ moves rightward.

Wiper linkage switch output 1
| Indicates whether to enable the wiper linkage switch output 1. Select the check box to enable it.
NOTE: - To use the rain wiper that is controlled by the Boolean value, connect the rain wiper to Boolean value output 1 and enable the rain wiper.
- If Boolean value output 1 connects to an alarm device, do not enable the function.
- If the function is not enabled, the rain wiper button in the PTZ control is unavailable.
