How to register an eNSP device? Highlighted

Hello, everyone!


This post explains the procedure of how to register an eNSP device. Please see more details below.


BACKGROUND


Sometimes, maybe you get the following information when you start your device in eNSP:

It is due to the AR/AC/AP not having been registered on VirtualBox, so:


1. you need to check the AR_Base, AC_Base, AP_Base options, then click the Register button;


2. if it fails to register during the first step, maybe it is due to eNSP having been installed/uninstalled many times. You need to go the next step;


3. open VirtualBox, delete all the links in the VirtualBox UI;


4. click File - Virtual Media Manager, delete all AR_Base.vdi, WLAN_AC_Base.vdi, WLAN_AP_Base.vdi;

5. open eNSP, click Menu - Tools - Register Device, check the AR_Base, AC_Base, AP_Base options, then click Register button.

Hi,

I'm starting using the eNSP.

I had the same problem and was solved with this procedure.

But if I want to open for example the examples that come with eNSP, the same issue continue.

Have you any idea, any workaround to solve it always ?

I wish I would have read this thread earlier because I was unable to this procedure on my own at that I took help from the asus support team to get it done for me and they have completed this task very fast without wasting any time.
