how to reduce memory usage of ensp

anybody  please tell me howto reduce memory utilization of ensp so that a router just uses less resources,, like 50 percent or even less then 50 percent.. i am not able to start as many routers at one time . need to simulate topologies but m not able to run all routers at once .

@manishah hi,
please do not enable all the device at the same time, you can enable them one by one.
Also, if it's possible, you can try replace the AR router with Router, commonly, Router occupies less resource that AR does, and please don't use NE router, Firewall, and CE switch as far as possible, cause these device occupy much more resource.
If you tried all the methods above, you might need to upgrade your PC hardware, such as increase the memory.

Each virtual device occupies about 300 MB of memory after startup. When running
on a computer with a larger memory, eNSP supports more virtual devices
simultaneously. Do not start a large number of virtual devices on the eNSP
computer with a small memory. For details, see

Hi,

Unfortunately there is very less that can be done to decrease the memory usage. As you do more configuration on router, it'll start to eat more memory.
I built a HCIE lab like that and I know what it feels like but the only thing I did was to switch ON 1 or 2 routers that test was going to be performed and rest were shut down
