Hi, dear!
Good day to you!
This topic describes how to recover if the TE series upgrade terminal failed.
While the endpoint is restarting or powering on, press and hold the MODE or RESET button.
TE30: Press and hold the MODE button for 10 seconds.
TE40&TE50&TE60&TX50: Press and hold the RESET button for 10 seconds.
endpoint enters the mini system.
At this time, the endpoint has two IP addresses available: the static IP address of the normal system and the default IP address (192.168.1.1). If the connection setup using the normal system IP address fails or the endpoint IP address is dynamic and unknown, you can use the default IP address for the upgrade.
Use Telnet to log in to the endpoint and run mnt upgswitch on to enable the mini system upgrade function. Extract the compressed file of the upgrade software on the computer. Run the upgrade program UpgMaster.exe.
The upgrade dialog box is displayed.
Click Browse. Find and select the file in te.dat format.
In Remote Terminal IP Address, enter your endpoint IP address, for example, 192.168.1.1. Then click Upgrade. In the displayed dialog box, enter the upgrade password and click OK. Restart the endpoint.
Thanks!
