Function

This command is used to query the power status of the device.

Format

display poe pdpowerstate

Usage Guidelines

  • Run the config command to enter global config mode, and then run the interface eth command to enter ETH mode.
  • This command can be used to query the power status of the device.
  • This command can be used to check whether the port is powered on when it is in the PD power mode.
  • In the AC power mode, the power status queried through this command is invalid.

Example

In the PD power mode, to query the power status of each port, do as follows:

huawei(config-if-eth-0/1)#display poe pdpowerstate

  • The system displays the queried result when the command runs successfully.
  • The following table describes the parameters in response to this command.

    Parameter

    Description

    Port

    Indicates the ID of the port on the service board. 1-8.

    Powerstate

    Indicates the power status of the port when the port in the PD power mode. When the port is powered on, the value of this parameter is Yes; otherwise, the value is No. In the AC power mode, the value is displayed as "-".

    Current Mode

    Indicates the power status of the device, that is, AC or PD.

    AC mode: AC power.

    PD mode: The device in the PoE power system is a device that is provided with power supply.

--------------------------------
Powerstate: indicates whether a port provides power in PD power supply mode. If the value is Yes, the port provides power for the line. If the value is No, the port does not provide power for the line. The value of this parameter is displayed as - in AC power supply mode. If an MA5626 supporting the reverse PoE function works in PD power supply mode, it is powered by a terminal in the PoE system.
