Hello, friend!

The ONT does not support QoS configuration. To configure the QoS of the ONT, you need to configure it on the OLT.

The EchoLife HG8145V bandwidth depends on the DBA configuration profile on the OLT.

For details about how to configure a DBA profile on the OLT, click How to Configure the DBA profile and line profile.

Thanks!

So technically end user does not have access to configure QoS, it needs to be configure by our Internet Service Provider through OLT device. I wonder why there's QoS setting in the router, or maybe depends on a certain ISP.

Hi, friend!

First, you need to know that your device is an ONT, not a router.

Quality of Service (QoS) is a technology used to solve problems such as network congestion, delay, jitter, and packet loss.

If you are a home network user, the network bandwidth depends on the services delivered by the ISP.
