Fault symptom:
Two Optix OSN 1800 devices are connected to provide an Ethernet service with 10G LAN bandwidth. The number of packets sent by the service side of the LDX board of an NE is 0.
Handling process:
After the service is reconfigured, the fault persists. Check according to signal flow, it is found that the WDM side of the LDX board at the opposite station transmits optical signals, but the EX40 board does not receive optical signals. The pigtail may be faulty. After the onsite check, it is found that the fiber jumpers are bound with cable ties. After the cable ties are cut off, services are restored.
