how to make Huawei hg8245w5 as access point

I tried to make it but not found wan port information can anyone help me out.

Confirmed:


The HG8245W5 is a GPON ONT and cannot be configured as an AP, and the ONT also does not support a serial connection.


If you need to extend wifi, you need to use a separate AP device.


If you are an enterprise user, you can set the second ONT to the bridging mode to transparently transmit Ethernet services.

As you previously posted the problem with the HG8245Q.
The AP functions as a Wi-Fi extender. and the ONT is an independent optical modem.

For WAN port information, you need to log in to the WebUI of the device.


In the navigation tree on the left, choose System Information > WAN Information. In the pane on the right, you can view the status of the WAN interface, mode of obtaining an IP address, IP address, and subnet mask.
