There are two types.
1. Files must meet the following requirements. If the format is incorrect, audio files cannot be played.
- The codec is G.711a.
- The announcement recorded is in mono.pcm or .wav format.
- The sampling rate is 8 kHz, and the sample precision is 8 bits.
- The duration does not exceed 5 minutes, and the size does not exceed 2.5 MB.
2. Files must meet the following requirements.
- The codec is G.711a.
- The announcement recorded is in mono.pcm format.
- The sampling rate is 8 kHz, sample precision is 8 bit.
- The size of a single voice file cannot exceed 256 KB. The recording duration can last at most 32s for both of them.
- The recorded audio file must be named after the channel ID. A new voice file will replace the old one if they are in the same channel. Therefore, you need to be cautious when selecting a channel number. It is recommended that you back up the old voice.zip or mrsvoice.zip file before making a new voice.zip or mrsvoice.zip file.
- In the automatic switchboard service, if a user does not press the pound key (#) after dialing a number according to the announcement, the call waiting duration may be long. To avoid this issue, the announcement played needs to prompt users to press the pound key. For example, the announcement "Please dial the extension number" needs to be changed to "Please dial the extension number followed by the pound key".
