Logging in through the console port.
Log in to the device through the console port on a PC, and configure the device after the first power-on. If you cannot remotely log in to the device, you can locally log in through the console port. If a device fails to start, you can use the console port to diagnose the fault or enter the BootROM to upgrade the device.
Logging in through telnet.
Access the network through a PC, log in to the device using Telnet, and locally or remotely configure the device. The target device verifies the user base don the configured login parameters. Logging in through Telnet allows the device to remotely manage and maintain the device more conveniently.
Logging in through SSH.
Logging in through SSH ensures information security and provides powerful authentication function to protect the devices against attacks such as IP address spoofing and interception of the plaintext password. This login mode ensures securer data Exchange.
Logging in through the web.
Access the device through the web browser on a client to control and manage the device through the web browser on a client to control and manage the device. This mode is applicable to the login on a PC.
Note: The IP address of the Ethernet interface on the PC and USG must be on the same network segment, or the PC and USG are routable.
Device management.

The GE0/0/0 interface of USG6000 low-end series products has a default IP address 192.168.0.1/24 for device management. Additionally, the web management function and the DHCP service of the interface are enabled by default. USG6310 and USG6320 desktop firewalls have no out-of-band management interfaces. The default management interface is GE1/0/0.
