1. Use a network cable to connect the LAN port of the ONT to the PC.

2. Ensure that the browser on the computer does not use a proxy server. The following uses Internet Explorer as an example to describe the check procedure.

a. Start the browser. In the browser window, choose Tools > Internet Options. The Internet Options window is displayed.

b. In the Internet Options window, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.

c. In the Proxy server area, ensure that Use a proxy server for the LAN (these settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections) is not selected. If it is selected, deselect it, and then click OK.

3. Set the IP address and subnet mask of the computer (IP address: 192.168.1.1 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0).

4. Log in to the web configuration page.

1) Enter http://192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1 is the default IP address of the ONT) in the address box of the browser and press Enter to go to the login page.

2) Enter the user name and password in the login window. (For the default user name and password, see the nameplate on the rear of the device.) After the password is verified, you can access the web configuration page.
