A customer needs to log in as the root user using the Xshell tool.
Procedure
Log in to the VCN500 server as the admin user and switch to the root user.
1. Double-click the Xshell tool to start it.

2. Click 
. In the window that is displayed, add a host.
a) Enter the host name.
b) Enter the host IP address.
c) Click OK. The Sessions window is displayed.
3. Click the new host and click Connect

4. Enter the server login user admin and click OK.
5. Enter the server login password (default password: Change_Me)and click OK.
6. Switch from the admin user to the root user.
7. Type su - root in the CLI window and press Enter.
8. Enter the root user password (default password: Change_Me) in the Password: line and press Enter.
