Loading Voice Files to the Memory of the MSU Board (U2980)

Before configuring the built-in PBX, you must load the voice files used by the built-in PBX to the memory of the MSU board.

  1. Download the voice package.

    Log in to http://support.huawei.com/enterprise and download the 11_PBX_NOTE package.

    Download path: SUPPORT > Product Support > Unified Communications and Collaboration > Unified Communications > Unified Communications Gateways > eSpace U2980 > eSpace U2980 V100R001C02 > 11_PBX_NOTE

  2. Decompress the voice package.
  3. Upload the voice files to the shared directories on the file server. You can run the LST VOLCFG command to query the shared directories. Generally, the shared directories are in the share directory.

    The default directories for storing different types of voice files are as follows:
    • service: default directory for storing service voice files. You can run the LST INCFG command to query the directory.
    • tone: default directory for storing tone voice files. You can run the LST INCFG command to query the directory.

    You are not advised to change the default directories. To change the default directories, see (Optional) Changing Directories of Voice Files.

  4. Restart the MSU board.
  5. Query the updated tone voice files.

    DSP VOICE: MN=Module number of the MSU board, TY=TONE;

    If the values of Voice code are displayed, the voice files are successfully updated.

    %%DSP VOICE: MN=472, TY=TONE;%%
    RETCODE = 0  Operation succeeded.
