This post explains how to limit the rate of the Ethernet port of an ONT. Please see more information further down.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
In the commercial release, GPON does not support the rate limitation function of an ONT.
EPON supports the rate limitation function of an ONT.
In the case of the OLT in version R105C33B050, you can configure the rate limitation function by configuring the EPON ONT ports.
In the EPON config mode, use the following command to set the upstream rate:
policing <cir> <cbs> <ebs> in the ont port attribute <portid> <ontid> fe < ont-portid>.
Then use ds-policing <cir> <pir> to set the downstream rate.
This would be all on how to limit the rate of the Ethernet port of an ONT.
