Generally, the way to get the username and password of Huawei ONT is to check the nameplate on the rear side of the device.
However, because the equipment is old, the nameplate cannot be seen clearly and we don't know what to do.
So today, I would like to share another convenient method.
Step 1: Open the Huawei iknow robot interface.
The link is: https://support.huawei.com/iknow
Step 2: Click the ONT product line on the right side. On the displayed menu, click Query default password.
Step 3: Select a product model (for example: EG8040F)
Next, you can see the answers you want, as shown in the following figure.
Note: At present, iKnow collection of product models is not complete, the database is under updating, in the future will become better, welcome everyone to feel and experience!
