Hello! kindly help me to forward GRE protocol from WAN ge0/0/0 to 192.168.168.2 connected to lan e0/0/0 (192.168.168.0/30). 192.168.168.2- mikrotik router. I want to forward GRE protocol to this mikrotik router from my AR1200.

Hi mafiosa,
After experimentation, your plan is impossible. The GER tunnel can be established only after a route to the Mikrotik router is configured on the router at the other end of the GRE tunnel, that is, the router with the IP address 4.5.5.5. However, private IP addresses cannot be configured on the public network.

It is possible. The AR1200 is doing NAT on it I just created a nat server rule with protocol 47 to be forwarded and it is working fine.

What is the destination address of your GRE tunnel?

Hi mafiosa,
You can refer to the following configuration to configure GRE.
https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100007335&id=dc_cfg_gre_0022_2&lang=en
Note:
On the AR1200, you need to set the source IP address of the GRE tunnel to the IP address of WAN GE 0/0/0 and the destination IP address to 192.168.168.2.

@DDSN you didn't get my point. The GRE tunnel other end point is 4.5.5.5 (example) on the internet. AR 1200 is doing NAT. Mikrotik is on lan interface. One endpoint of gre is 4.5.5.5 and the other is the mikrotik. The question is how to forward all gre packets to the mikrotik connected on lan.
